Mickle Hill, Pickering - 90 Apartment Building Completed 8 Weeks Ahead of Contract Programme

Termrim Construction has handed over the main central facilities building at Mickle Hill in Pickering to MHA Care Group after completing work on it eight weeks ahead of schedule, allowing residents to move into their new homes early.

The 90 one and two-bedroom apartments in the building offer residents a mix of tenure including sale, shared ownership and rent.

A total of 168 new homes, made up of 90 apartments and 78 bungalows, are being built for the retirement village which is set within an 11-acre site close to the centre of Pickering, North Yorkshire.

The village-style development is for people over-55, with 24/7 care provided by MHA Care Group, and will offer a host of communal facilities including a café bistro, lounge, hairdressing and beauty suite, therapy suite, library, convenience shop, crafts room, fitness suite, cinema and bar.
