Netherthong 10k - 25 Years Running

Termrim Construction has supported the Netherthong 10k Road Race over a number of years and is the main sponsor in the 25th year of the event, which is organised by Netherthong Primary School.

Graeme Bird, Termrim Construction’s Managing Director, commented: “We are proud to continue to support the Netherthong 10k Road Race and we wish the school, all the volunteer helpers and all participants a successful day for the 25th year of the race."

The Netherthong 10K was held for the first time in 1990, when a field of 112 runners entered, and 2014 sees the race enter its 25th year!

Organised annually by Netherthong Primary School, the race is widely recognised as being one of the most challenging 10K road race routes in the country.

The current course records are held by:

Male : Nick Goodliffe (Holmfirth Harriers) - 32 mins 30 secs

Female: Carol Greenwood  (Calderdale) - 36 mins 25 secs.
