Description

Following the completion of the restoration of Martin Grange, Harrogate into 29 extra care properties, work then commenced on an adjacent property that had been in the ownership of Methodist Homes since the mid-1940s.

The conversion and restoration works created four new extra care apartments for sale, that are linked into the support and care services at Martin Grange.

Significant structural alterations within the existing building were required to form the new apartments and create a new central core providing new stair and lift access to each property in the four-storey building.

The new works carefully preserved and restored existing features and the fabric of the building, while delivering modern extra care apartments.

The building is located within the Harrogate Conservation area and commands panoramic view over The Harrogate Stray.

Kettlewell Court was handed over to the client, Methodist Homes, in July 2013.
